Y6 complete the Mini Marathon
Fri 01 Oct 2021A HUGE WELL DONE TO ALL the children in Y6 who completed the Mini Marathon today. Including the laps you did yesterday, with today's run, I think we can safely say you have all run 2.6 miles (or more)!! Mrs Bell's son came to run with the Y6s and as we set off, the heavens opened - it was WET and a bit chilly. Despite the rain, they all set off and everyone did their very best. Thank you to all of you for joining in and giving it your all. Mrs Bell, Mr Holland, Mrs Hall and Mrs Lawton are EXTREMELY proud of you. Thank you for taking part and raising money and for smiling and encouraging one another no matter how hard it was! What OUTSTANDING young people you are! Mrs Bell
We have raised £500 already!

Over the summer, Mrs Bell, Miss Gill and Mrs Bolland did a spot of painting - can you see where we have been with our paintbrushes?

Beat The Street
Mon 14 Jun 2021Let’s try to win Points for Norton Free!
Beat the Street is a fun, free project that will see Sheffield transformed into a giant game! See how far you can walk, cycle and run in just 6 weeks.
Play the game from 16 June – 28 July to win prizes for yourself and school.
Today every pupil will get a fob and a map that they can use on the Beat Boxes that are appearing on lamp posts all over Sheffield. The children will also bring home a letter with a card attached that somebody else in the family can use!
Visit https://www.beatthestreet.me/sheffield/ to register your fob or card and start beating the street.
Every journey you make adds to your points total as well as your team and the whole of your area. Stay active and earn points for the school team!
How far can you go?
Any questions please email rneilson@nortonfree.sheffield.sch.uk.
Many Thanks
Mr Neilson
