  • Can you help one of our lovely children ?

    Sun 29 Sep 2019

Amy has grown and then cut her hair to donate it to the Princess Trust. She has done this because she learnt at Brownies that some children can’t grow their hair and she would like another child to have hair and feel beautiful.

The Little Princess Trust make amazing high-quality real hair wigs. From receiving hair donations at their office, through to fitting and styling a bespoke wig, it costs the charity from £550 to provide a real-hair wig free-of-charge, at a time when families really need their help.

They currently supply over 100 wigs every month. The Little Princess Trust needs financial donations as well as hair donations, in order to fund the actual manufacturing of the wigs and wig-fitting service. In addition to the free wig provision they fund research into finding better treatments for childhood cancers Every penny that you can spare really does count.

Please take a moment to consider donating to Amy’s Just Giving page in support of her big hair cut day and any money raised will go straight to the Princess Trust.

    Thank you

  • Football Training

    Thu 19 Sep 2019 Mr R Neilson

Football training will begin next Tuesday (24/9/19). Mr Thaw and I will be running the sessions. This after school activity is for any year 5 or year 6 children who want to take part in some fun, football based activities.

Letters will be sent home with the children tonight and need to be returned to either Mr Neilson (Y5 classroom) or the green

postbox at the front of school.

Please ensure your child has football boots (not trainers) and shin pads as they cannot take part without these pieces of equipment due to health and safety procedures.

Please find the initial letter in the year 5 and year 6 class pages.

    Thanks
