Athletics City Championships - successes

We had a brilliant evening at the City Championships for Athletics on Thursday 20th June 2019. 56 schools took part in the heats leading up to the City Finals! 7 of our children qualified in a range of events and at the end of the evening we had a CITY CHAMPION in the Y5 60m sprint, a bronze medalist in the Y5 600m and some stunning performances from all our children who finished in the top 5 or top 10 in the city! The results are as follows:

Jem Martin - Y5 600m distance race - 3rd in the City

Alfie Taylor Haigh - Y6 800m race - 4th in the City

Charlie Barker finalist for Y5 60m sprint

Isaac Corker - Y5 race walk 600m top 5 finisher

Eden Thurley - Y5 race walk 600m girls finalist

Charlie Barker - Y5 600m distance race - top 10
