Online Safety
At Norton Free C of E Primary School, keeping our children safe online is a top priority. The online world is a wonderful place for learning, creativity, and connection, but it’s important that children know how to use it responsibly and safely.
Our aim is to help pupils develop the knowledge and skills they need to make smart choices online. Through our curriculum, assemblies, and discussions, we teach children how to:
Stay safe when using websites, games, and social media
Protect their personal information
Recognise and report anything that makes them feel uncomfortable or worried
Show kindness and respect in their online behaviour
We work closely with parents and carers to promote consistent messages about online safety at home and at school. You’ll find links below to useful resources, guidance, and advice to help families support children in developing positive digital habits.
Together, we can make sure that every child enjoys the internet safely and confidently.

User agreements
Attached below are three types of user agreements (KS1, KS2 and Community users or visitors). These are in place to ensure that all members of the Norton Free community understand and consent to the use of technology in our school. These documents will be shared in classrooms this week and children will have the opportunity to ask questions before signing.
