Dear Parents and Carers,
Any information about September opening will be stored here so that you can refer to it it at your leisure. We have tried to keep all the information about school during Covid 19 in one place so that you can find out the answer to any queries. Although I will not be in school everyday in September, I am able to contact you if you make a request to me or Miss Gill in the school office.
Mrs Bell (email@example.com),
Miss Gill (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Mr Holland (email@example.com).
Public Health England guidance.
“If a child or staff member at a school tests positive, and they had attended the school in the 48 hours prior to developing symptoms, direct and close contacts will be identified and advised regarding self-isolation by a contact tracer. The bubble must self-isolate.
"Other household members of the wider class or group do not need to self-isolate unless the child, young person or staff member they live with in that group subsequently develops symptoms. Siblings can still go to school unless the child in the bubble develops symptoms"

Actions you can take
Do not send your child to their nursery, childminder, school or college if:
- they are showing coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms
- someone in their household is showing symptoms
Arrange a test if you or your child develops symptoms. Inform your nursery, childminder, school or college of the results.
If the test is positive, follow guidance for households with possible or confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, and engage with the NHS Test and Trace process.
It is really important that you help nurseries, childminders, schools and colleges to implement these actions by following the advice set out here and wider public health advice and guidance.
Breakfast Club arrangements 2020
Public Health Leaflet
Children in Years 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 start back at school on Thursday 3rd September.
Children will start school at staggered times to ease congestion (see below).
Foundation Stage children will return to school over the course of the second week (w/c 7th Sept).
Parents are kindly asked not to enter the school building unless the visit is absolutely essential and only via the main entrance (until further notice).
Please maintain social distancing around the school premises.
Y4, Y5 and Y6 will start at 8:45am and finish at 3:15pm.
FS, Y1, Y2 and Y3 will start at 9am and finish at 3:30pm.
Parents of children in Y4, Y5 and Y6 are asked to bring their children to school in the morning via the pedestrian entrance on Matthews Lane and where possible, let the children walk down to school on their own turning left into the KS2 yard where the class teacher will be waiting. There will be a member of staff by the pedestrian gate entrance on Matthews Lane and another at the bottom of the hill to direct children into school.
Parents of children in FS, Y1, Y2 and Y3 should enter via the car park gates (one gate will be open), walk down the hill and enter the KS1 yard where the class teacher will be waiting for them to take them into school. Children in these year groups will be starting at 9am. If you have a child in KS1 and KS2 and the 15 minute difference between drop off times is likely to cause an issue for you, then please contact the class teacher to arrange something between you.
At pick up times, Y4 parents please enter via the car park gates at 3:10pm and walk down the drive to the main entrance where your children will be released to you. Y5 will be released from the pedestrian gate on Matthews Lane at 3:15pm. Y6 will be released from the car park gates at 3:15pm. Parents are asked to wait outside for children and when you they arrive with you, please leave as soon as possible to ease any congestion.
KS1 parents please stay well back until Y4, Y5 and Y6 have left.
KS1 parents may start to come through the car park gate at 3:25pm following the one way system to pick up from the KS1 yard at 3:30pm. Please observe social distancing and move away from the exits as soon as you can. Thank you.
